Amazon has begun deploying its custom electric delivery vehicles from Rivian for package delivery, with the electric vehicles hitting the road in Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Kansas City, Nashville, Phoenix, San Diego, Seattle, and St. Batteries that are light, resilient, and low cost in addition to lasting the lifetime of the vehicle.

Frito-Lay announced a new electric fleet that will serve the Dallas Fort Worth area, specifically Carrollton. In addition, all Frito-Lay US manufacturing sites use LED lighting with expected GHG emissions savings equivalent to 21,200 metric tons of CO 2 annually. plants, offices, and distribution centers.

The team modeled the air quality impacts of replacing approximately 20% of the gasoline-powered light duty vehicle miles traveled (VMT) with electric VMT by the year 2018 for four major cities in Texas: Dallas/Ft Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
