Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., The battery-electric SUV features a 41.8 kWh Li-ion pack, offering an expected driving range rating of approximately 100 miles (161 km). The battery warranty is 8 years or 100,000 miles. Sales volume is planned for approximately 2,600 units over the next three years.

The battery pack is comprised of 5,088 lithium-ion cells for a cummulative 35kWhrs of energy storage. These specifications sound strikingly similar to the electric drive and energy storage system found in the very impressive AC Propulsion eBox electric vehicles which also sport a 5,088 lithium-ion cell battery with 35kWhrs of capacity.
