It can do this with little disruption to the way homes and industry purchase and use energy today. We can set a goal to have every new vehicle purchased be a PHEV. Virtually any car, truck or bus can be made or redesigned as a long-range PHEV. It is only a matter of economics motivated by incentives or taxes.
