Together, we designed and integrated a low-voltage Li-ion battery management system featuring ISL78714 ICs and RH850 microcontrollers in Mahindra Racing electric race cars.

NEC Energy Solutions, along with NEC Corporation, has announced production availability of the Li-ion ALM 12V35 product line of 12-Volt batteries utilizing Nanophosphate lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO 4 ) technology from A123 Systems. All ALM 12V35 models are available now and are shipping to initial customers.

UK-based Swindon Powertrain is offering a range of high energy density (HED) Li-ion battery packs alongside its range of compact electric powertrains to low-volume car and light commercial vehicle manufacturers and developers. Available now, initially in either 25 kWh or 60 kWh options, HED is an automotive grade lithium-ion unit.

The Leo power pack is made up of eight modules of ten lithium polymer cells, with each module assembled from ten small Li -ion polymer cells using a BMS. The kit is available now from Leo Motors on an order basis. The price of the kit is $20,000 with a 16kWh power pack.
