In July of this year, the company entered into an innovation contract with PSA Peugeot Citroën Automobiles under which PSA will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the use of PowerGenix’s NiZn batteries as a replacement for lead-acid in stop-start vehicles. Nickel-zinc batteries are chemically very similar to nickel-cadmium, NiCd.

The federal government cant hand out money to a company thats telling them that itll lose money on a $40, 000 automobile that more than half the populace couldnt afford if the economy was in good shape! The mines in Canada where the nickel & cadmium are mined is one of the most polluted places on Earth. Never again.
