During a driving event at the Miramas proving grounds in southern France, BMW presented future drive technologies, including the prototype of a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid drive. In Comfort mode, the high-voltage battery is automatically recharged by the high-voltage generator to a charge up of around 15%.
