In the prototype of a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer with plug-in hybrid system, the front wheels are driven by a three-cylinder gasoline engine and the rear wheels by an electric motor. In Comfort mode, the high-voltage battery is automatically recharged by the high-voltage generator to a charge up of around 15%. l/100 km/26.7-28.3
