Maruti Suzuki has initiated a recall for a significant number of vehicles due to concerns regarding a potential defect. Specifically, the company has announced the recall of 11,851 units of Baleno and 4,190 units of WagonR manufactured between July 30, 2019, and November 1, 2019.

This recall is a precautionary measure prompted by suspicions of a defect in the Fuel Pump Motor component. While instances of this issue are rare, there is a possibility that it could result in engine stalling or starting problems.

Affected owners of these vehicles will receive communication from authorized Maruti Suzuki dealer workshops. The company has assured that the replacement of the faulty part will be conducted free of charge. This proactive step is aimed at ensuring the safety and reliability of the vehicles on the road.
