Hyundai and Kia select Infineon HybridPACK 1 power module for current hybrid vehicle generations

Infineon Technologies AG announced that Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Motors Corporation have selected Infineon as supplier of power modules for their current hybrid car generations, the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Kia Optima. Infineon produces its IGBT chips and emitter-controlled diodes for automotive power modules in Villach, Austria.

Tesla Model 3 Europe’s best-selling pure EV in February in its first full month on the market

It was the best performing SUV in Austria, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and the second best in Germany, Croatia, Denmark and Italy. Volkswagen led the model rankings with the Golf, which saw a decline in its gasoline registrations (-18%), but an increase in its diesel registrations (+8%).
