Audi announces pricing and fuel economy for 2014 Audi A6, A7 and Q5 TDI diesels

At the 2012 Los Angeles Motor Show in December, Audi of America announced the significant expansion of its diesel model line-up with the addition of A8, A7, A6, and Q5 TDI diesel models to the Q7 and A3 TDI already on sale in the US. (Earlier post.)
Audi has now announced pricing and fuel economy figures for the 2014 A6, A7 and Q5 TDI models, expected to begin arriving at US dealers in late Summer 2013. The 2014 Audi A8 L was already recently introduced. EPA estimated fuel economy figures for the clean diesel introductions are as follows:

The all-new Audi A3 sedan arriving in 2014, will also be available with a TDI clean diesel engine.
The 2014 Audi A6 TDI starts at $57,500. The 6-cylinder diesel engine with 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive generates 240 hp (179 kW) and 428 lb-ft (580 N·m) torque, with 0-60 mph performance in 5.5 seconds. The A6 TDI will go on sale in late Summer 2013.
The 2014 Audi A7 TDI is Audi’s first diesel five-door coupe and starts at $66,900. With powertrain, power, torque and acceleration numbers the same as the A6 TDI, it goes on sale in Summer 2013.
The Audi Q5—one of the best-selling models in the Audi lineup—is for the first time available with a TDI engine for the 2014 Model Year. With the same power and torque figures as the A6 and A7 TDIs, the Q5 TDI accelerates from 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds. The Q5 TDI starts at $46,500.
These MPG numbers could have been so much better. They are better than gasoline engines, no doubt, but Audi could not resist the temptation to pervert the concept and oversize everything for "performance".
