It initiated the start of the "Plug-in Arizona Educational Tour" for educating one AZ County at a time! Plug-ins can be moving the USA to regain its energy independence with good ole homegrown American, if not Arizona solar, electrons! After all, if the US Stimulus Package program could do "Cash for Clunkers," then why not "Cash for Conversions!". Next, upcoming EVents for "Plug-in Arizona Educational Tour" within the next two weeks (fingers crossed!)

The EV Project began in October 2009 when ECOtality’s eTec was awarded a federal stimulus grant of nearly $100 million from the DOE, and will deploy 4,700 Nissan LEAF EVs for the three-year study. Underwriters Laboratories (UL) was recently named the exclusive Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory for The EV Project ( earlier post ), a large-scale study of electric vehicle (EV) charging station infrastructure.
