Aptera has announced that they will be using EVE Energy batteries in their upcoming production car, and the batteries will be produced in San Diego. Today, they have announced yet another partnership, this time with EVE Energy, a Chinese battery manufacturer who will be supplying Aptera with batteries made in a San Diego production facility.

A great many people were disappointed--though perhaps not surprised--when green automaker Aptera closed its doors in late 2011. Its project, the Aptera 2e, promised to be one of the most efficient vehicles on the road, but the company suffered the usual startup automaker pitfalls and disappeared with a bang.

Aptera – US-based company claims to have created the world’s most efficient vehicle with the three-seat F1-inspired Aptera. Avatar E11 – a new brand with big dreams, Avatar has input from Huawei and CATL and is the product of Chinese car maker Changan. It’ll be on sale in 2025, possibly as the A9 e-Tron.

Or if you don’t want to go into details, just compare the Volt to the Aptera :-) — James 15. in chinese ?, Nor is the F-16 a particularly good example for automotive-speed aerodynamics, since it won’t even stay in the air at much less than about 180 kts. How about using a competition sailplane for comparison, instead?
