NUS-led study: beltway to divert diesel trucks in São Paulo improved air quality and public health

The original intent of building the beltway was to enable heavy-duty vehicles to bypass the densely populated neighborhoods, and thereby ease traffic congestion in the inner-city roads. Grumbling about her gasoline-powered altfuel car remained unspoken. A real car, by any measure. I hope to find out more tomorrow.
