According to a recent report from Navigant Research, total sales of LDVs are expected to total more than 2.1 Navigant forecasts global annual LDV sales to grow from 88.8 Global market forecasts for sales and the number of vehicles in use, segmented by country, drivetrain, and primary fuel, extend through 2035.

The bill repeals the Florida Renewable Fuel Standard Act (ss. which requires that, beginning 31 December 2010, all gasoline sold or offered for sale in Florida by a terminal supplier, importer, blender, or wholesaler be blended gasoline. The original Act did not address retail sales of gasoline.

ROUSH CleanTech has received California Air Resources Board (CARB) approval of its propane autogas (LPG) fuel system for retrofitting 2010 model year 5.4-liter CARB’s B-series Executive Orders certify alternative fuel retrofit systems for sale in California, although several other states follow CARB guidelines.

The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) rolled out its new fleet of 77 buses fueled by propane autogas. The alternatively fueled buses will help the agency reduce its operating costs, and will reduce emissions by 2 million pounds per year. MTS purchased 31 minibuses and 46 paratransit buses fueled by propane.
