Veolia Transportation is launching Baltimore’s first propane autogas taxi fleet. The company has also installed an autogas fueling station in Baltimore to serve 50 Checker and Yellow taxis. Propane autogas is the most widely used alternative fuel in the world.

Transitioning the fleet to all electric will eliminate emissions from diesel buses and emissions from shipping diesel fuel by barge 900 miles from Seattle.
