The oldest operating ferry in Finland will on Saturday become the nation’s first all-electric passenger vessel after being fitted with Visedo power. The new installed system was eight tons lighter; consisting of two Visedo permanent magnet motor drives and two Visedo DC/DC converters which control the ferry’s DC grid.

Truck makers and environmentalists have joined forces to push for the deployment of 11,000 charging points for electric trucks across the EU by 2025, rising to 42,000 by 2030. However, our customers will not invest in these vehicles unless they can charge and re-fuel them easily as they deliver goods from one country to another.

A Taycan’s DC charge port is behind the front left wheel, and Tesla chargers are designed for Teslas to back into position and recharge at their rear-mount ports. Arse-hole parking engaged: charging a Porsche Taycan RWD with a Tesla Supercharger. But this is all fine. Like our pissed off new mate. It just feels special.
