Electric Vehicle Service Equipment (EVSE) home wall units are priced at between about $1000 and $2500. All plug-in cars these days come with a 120-volt charge cord. Surprising to many, including I suspect Tesla Motors itself, they found that about half the charging of Roadsters at home in the U.S. Plus installation. is at 120V.
