In contrast, from what I’ve read about BYD and their situation in California, they haven’t made a big push to make their Los Angeles factory more localized. Geely could even have Volvo or Polestar factories in South Carolina also make Zeekr vehicles, just like how Honda makes both Honda and Acura models in their Marysville, Ohio factory.
