At CES 2019, ZF will unveil a steering-wheel- and pedal-free robo-taxi to show how its technologies enable new forms of urban mobility. Users can hail the taxi using their smartphone or tablet; the robo-taxi will maneuver autonomously to pick them up. It can then chauffeur them to where they wish to go.

Ford introduced two new taxis: the new 2019 Transit Connect Taxi and Ford’s most fuel-efficient, purpose-built taxi, the 2019 Fusion Hybrid Taxi. Transit Connect Taxi , when equipped with available 1.5-liter Final EPA-estimated ratings available early 2019.

The air route connected Hillwood’s Mobility Innovation Zone, in the northern outskirts of Fort Worth, to the Discovery Park on the campus of the University of North Texas, a distance of 60 kilometers (37 miles). In 2016, TNCs were 15% of all intra-San Francisco vehicle trips, which is 12 times the number of taxi trips, while in New York in 2016, TNC ridership equaled that of yellow cab and doubled annually between 2014 and 2016. TomTom AutoStream has launched with two initial partners: Baidu and Zenuity, while TomTom MotionQ can be seen in the new Rinspeed Snap, a robo-taxi concept vehicle,also revealed for the first time at CES. The TomTom HD Map content will be delivered to Zenuity’s Connected Roadview via TomTom AutoStream.
