Seven-Eleven and Toyota entered into a basic agreement in August 2017 regarding considerations toward energy conservation and carbon dioxide emission reduction in store distribution and operation. Specifically, the Group plans to increase renewable energy use in stores to 20% and reduce CO 2 emissions by 27% compared to FY 2013 by 2030.

Ford will present its latest generation of connected and electrified Transit products at the IAA Commercial Vehicle show in Hannover, Germany, from 20-27 September 2018. Ford’s Transit Custom plug-in hybrid (PHEV) will make its show debut in production form, and the new Transit with a segment-first 48-volt mild hybrid (mHEV) powertrain.

In 2019, the high-voltage battery assembly area at Plant Spartanburg doubled in size in preparation for the new X3 xDrive30e and X5 xDrive45e. The combined power of the new PHEV drivetrain is 389 hp, a bump of 81 hp over the previous generation. When activated, the drive recorder shoots and stores up to 40 seconds of video.
