Yamaha Motor will supply Subaru Tecnica International Inc. STI) with hyper-EV electric motor units ( earlier post ) for the STI E-RA EV the company is developing for future motorsport. The commissioned development of prototype electric motors is one of the company’s initiatives toward achieving this goal.

More than 2 million employees in the sector worked with conventional gasoline and diesel vehicles in 2018, up 1.4% Electric vehicle employees grew 21% and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle employees grew 31% from 2017 to 2018.
