Hyundai presented its new 2019 Kona Electric crossover (introduced in March at the New York Auto Show, earlier post ) and 2019 NEXO fuel cell SUV (showcased at CES in January, earlier post ) to US media at a driving introduction in Los Angeles. NEXO will be available in California before the end of 2018. Kona Electric.

Fuel cell electric vehicles in the rally include models from Toyota, Hyundai, and Mercedes-Benz. There are more than 300 fuel cell electric vehicles on the road in California today; ARB staff projects 6,650 fuel cell electric vehicles will be registered in the state in 2017, and 10,500 in 2018. —ARB Chair Mary Nichols.

Genesis showed a pre-production 2023 Electrified GV70 to a few members of the automotive media a week before the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2023 Electrified GV70 will be the first all-electric vehicle produced by Genesis at its Montgomery, Alabama, factory that has produced the Hyundai Santa Cruz, Elantra and Sonata.
