SK On signs MOU with Global Lithium Resources to bolster key battery materials supply chain

South Korea-based SK On (SKO), a global EV battery manufacturer, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Australia’s Global Lithium Resources to explore future business opportunities together in regard to stable supply of lithium. Incorporated in 2018, Global Lithium was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange last year.

Brussels plant kicks off production for the new Audi Q8 e-tron

Around 160,000 units of Audi’s first electric model have been delivered since 2018. Named “Factory of the Future” in 2020 by the employers’ association Agoria, Brussels achieved this distinction as early as 2018. The electric traction motors for production are transported from Hungary to Brussels by green freight.

The 18 European countries covered in the study are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Countries from Eastern Europe were not included due to the lack of air pollution exposure data in the region.
