US average retail gasoline prices ended 2017 lower than they started

Lyft commits to 100% EVs by 2030

In 2018, Lyft started a carbon-offsets program to make rides on the Lyft platform carbon-neutral. Last year Lyft launched hundreds of EVs onto the Lyft platform through Express Drive in Seattle, Atlanta, and Denver. Lyft expects these savings to increase over time as the cost of EV batteries continues to come down.

TRUE US database shows emissions characteristics of US fleet

To complement its work on real-world emissions in Europe, TRUE has compiled remote sensing data from the states of Colorado and Virginia and the University of Denver to investigate the emissions of US light-duty vehicles. By 2018, the percentage of the fleet responsible for 50% of total NO emissions had decreased to 11%.
