BYD wins order for another 406 electric buses in Bogotá, Colombia

BYD entered the Colombian market in 2012 and made several milestone achievements: building the first pure electric taxi fleet in South America in 2013, entering the Bogotá BRT system in 2017. Globally, BYD’s green transport offerings have spread to more than 300 cities, operating in more than 50 countries and regions.

BYD to add another 183 electric buses to Santiago’s fleet

The 183 BYD electric buses will join the 100 electric buses that BYD and local partner Enel brought into Santiago last December, giving BYD a dominant share of more than 60% in the capital’s electric bus market. The first 100 BYD buses were delivered to Santiago in December 2018. The existing fleet of K9FEs operating in Santiago.

TomTom: Global traffic congestion up; Bengaluru world’s most traffic-congested city

Overall, traffic congestion has increased globally during the last decade, and the 239 cities (57%) TomTom included in the new Traffic Index report had increased congestion levels between 2018 and 2019, with only 63 cities showing measurable decreases. Greater Moscow takes the lead in Europe (59%) with Istanbul (55%) coming a close second.
