myenergi ranks #26 in The Sunday Times 100

myenergi has once again been listed in The Sunday Times 100, the definitive annual list of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.

Run in partnership with Barclays Private Bank and DHL Express, the initiative celebrates entrepreneurial achievement, commercial success and exponential growth. myenergi ranked #26 in the 2023 league table, reporting revenues of £67m in the year to May and average annual sales growth over three years of 125%.

Founded in 2016 by Lee Sutton and Jordan Brompton, myenergi is best known for pioneering the world’s first solar compatible electric vehicle charger – zappi. Headquartered in Stallingborough, Lincolnshire, but with subsidies in Germany, Australia, Ireland and the Netherlands, the company is widely regarded as one of the world’s fastest-growing eco-smart home tech firms.

Recently shipping its 500,000th unit, myenergi has invested heavily in state-of-the-art production facilities and an industry-defining product range. In 2022, the company launched its all-new smart home battery, libbi, reporting record pre-orders from all over the world.

Lee Sutton, co-founder and CEO of myenergi, commented: “When we founded myenergi, the purpose was simple – to remove the barriers to a greener future by pioneering a simple transition to renewable energy. We started with nothing, apart from a few good ideas and a serious passion for change – today, we’re widely considered one of the sector’s fastest-growing companies.

“Being named in The Sunday Times 100 for the second year in a row is a real honour. The accolade is testament to everyone who has supported our innovation, achievement and exponential growth.”

The Sunday Times 100 is a celebration of the UK’s entrepreneurial achievements. Entrants must be independent, privately-owed and UK-headquartered, with sales exceeding £5m in their last year of trading and a minimum of 5 staff. Rankings are calculated through the compound annual growth rate of the past three financial years.
