Chrysler Group LLC reported US sales of 152,367 units in December 2012, a 10% increase compared with sales in December 2011 (138,019 units), and the group’s best December sales since 2007. The FIAT brand’s 59% increase was the largest sales gain of any Chrysler Group brand for the month.

Except for the 2012 Tesla Model S, there are no seven-seat all-electric vehicles for sale on the market today. Earlier this week, however, Nissan confirmed that it plans to sell a seven-seat minivan variant of the e-NV200 all-electric van in Europe when it enters production next year.

Cumulative worldwide sales of TMC hybrids. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announced that global cumulative sales of its hybrid vehicles—passenger car and commercial—topped the 4-million unit mark as of 30 April. of cumulative sales, with 2.631 million units sold—44% of those sales were in Japan, and 56% overseas.
