The EVer (Electric Vehicle extended range) powertrain of the Fisker Karma. Fisker Automotive published its first business update, announcing that revenues had exceeded $100 million in the first four months of 2012. We are encouraged by solid demand for the Karma, our unique extended-range luxury model.

Supported by the Swedish Energy Agency and the EU, the project comprises three potential technology combinations: one a series-hybrid range extender configuration; and two parallel-hybrid range extender configurations. Tests of the concepts will get under way in the first quarter of 2012.

At the opening of Auto Guangzhou 2012, Shanghai General Motors launched its first localized new energy vehicle, the Sail SPRINGO EV. The top speed is 130 km/h (81 mph). Electric range is 130 km (81 miles) under a variety of road conditions and 200 km (124 iles) at a constant speed of 60 km/h (37 mph). The Sail SPRINGO EV.

Their paper was presented at the ASME Internal Combustion Engine Division 2012 Fall Technical Conference by Marcello Canova, assistant professor at OSU; lead author was Philipp Skarke, from the University of Stuttgart Institute for Internal Combustion Engines and Automotive Engineering. kW and about 27 kW at constant velocity of 65 mph.

A123 Systems has entered a battery supply agreement with Fisker Automotive to supply battery systems for the Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).
