PBF considering $550M investment to convert idled refinery unit to renewable diesel production

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards and PBF Chalmette Refinery Manager Steven Krynski announced that the company is studying the possible conversion of an idled refinery unit into a renewable diesel production complex. Sasol embarking on feasibility study on a US gas-to-liquids facility in Louisiana

Air Products enters long-term agreement with Motiva for additional supply of hydrogen to Convent refinery

Air Products has entered a long-term agreement with Motiva Enterprises LLC for an additional supply of hydrogen to be used by Motiva’s Convent, Louisiana refinery. Currently, Air Products operates hydrogen pipelines in both Texas and Louisiana. Air Products announced plans to construct a new 180-mile long pipeline in 2010.

Air Products dedicates world’s largest hydrogen plant and pipeline system

Air Products had operated two hydrogen pipeline systems in Texas and Louisiana before joining them with a new 180-mile segment. The company announced the pipeline project in 2010 and placed it onstream in August 2012 to begin supply of more than 1.2 billion cubic feet of hydrogen per day to Louisiana and Texas customers.
