Targray to distribute Golden Light LiPF6-based electrolyte materials to North America and Europe

Targray Technology International has entered into a distribution agreement with Golden Light Hi-Tech (Shantou Jinguang Hi-Tech Company (USA) Inc) for the distribution of its electrolyte materials across North America and Europe. Targray now offers a full line of customizable electrolyte solutions based on battery-grade LIPF6 salt—suitable for a range of lithium-ion applications, from consumer electronics to EV cells.
Golden Light is a China-based supplier of electrolyte. It is a fully integrated manufacturer with the ability to manufacture both LIPF6 salt and the final electrolyte solution. Golden Light was founded in 2000, and its North America branch was established in Pasadena, California in 2010.
Founded in 1989, Targray Technology is a global supplier of materials to manufacturers of Li-ion cells and batteries. Targray is a global company with operations and customers in more than 50 countries throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas.
It will compete with BASF, Dupont, Dow and others. More competition will bring price down. That is positive for future batteries and electrified vehicles.
