There have been 5 recession since then until now and I wanted to see if Oil had anything to do with them, because deep in my heart, I knew the most recent recession was directly caused by the oil price spikes that started in 2007 and peaked in 2008. By 2005 the Fed Funds Target Rate was 2.25% and then by the beginning of 2007 it was 5.25%.

Our EV Solutions 97 S10 EV conversion was originally completed in the Spring of 2007. I've been meaning to get this project started for a few weeks but it seems one thing or another always kept popping up and delaying the project. But now the time has come, so, a little background first.

CalCars converted Priuses into a PRIUS+ at the 2006 and 2007 Maker Faire s. Plug-In Conversions Corp www.pluginconversions.com of Poway, near San Diego, CA converts the Toyota Prius using NiMH batteries and the EAA-PHEV open source control system, and will provide kits to qualified DIY installers.
