Chalmers team develops structural battery that performs 10x better than previous versions

Researchers from Chalmers University of Technology, in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, have produced a structural battery that performs ten times better than all previous versions. Both the carbon fiber and the aluminum foil contribute to the mechanical properties of the structural battery.

Amprius Technologies awarded US Army contract to develop 100% silicon anode Li-ion batteries for UAS applications

BASF and Eramet to assess development of nickel-cobalt refining complex in Weda Bay to support EV battery production

Since its acquisition of Weda Bay in 2007, Eramet carried out extensive geological work and confirmed the potential of this world-class deposit whose mining operations started at the end of 2019. In addition to these initial developments, the teams at Eramet are conducting studies on the production of nickel for electric vehicle batteries.
