Clean Energy expands CNG fueling agreements with new and existing USPS contract-carrier fleets

They will fuel 20 new CNG trucks out of Clean Energy’s Dallas-Fort Worth Station. Since 2005, we have increased the use of alternative fuels by 141%, and we are encouraged that our contract-carriers are using alternative fuels as well. The United States Postal Service takes our sustainability goals very seriously.

GE unveils prototype for first Tier 4 heavy-haul locomotive

Effective in 2015, Tier 4 standards will require manufacturers of locomotive diesel engines to lower particulate emissions 70% and NO x 76%, compared to engines first introduced in 2005. These changes will enhance the locomotive’s pulling capability, performance, emission reductions and fuel efficiency.
