EISA sets the first US mandatory lifecycle GHG reduction thresholds for renewable fuel categories, as compared to those of average petroleum fuels used in 2005. EPA included the proposed 2010 standards in the NPRM, and will issue a final rule by November 30, 2009 setting the applicable standards for 2010. Greenhouse Gases.
