I found a a 2004 with 247k km (154k miles) on the clock. My wife’s 2004 burns about 1 liter (1.05 Our 2004 is approaching that figure.

California ARB: GHG emissions fell below 1990 levels for first time in 2016; down 13% from 2004 peak; transportation emissions up 2%

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) announced that greenhouse gas emissions in California in 2016 fell below 1990 levels for the first time since emissions peaked in 2004—a reduction roughly equivalent to taking 12 million cars off the road or saving 6 billion gallons of gasoline a year.

EPA: US GHG emissions up 6% in 2021 from 2020

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released its 30 th annual Inventory of US Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Sinks (GHG Inventory), which presents a national-level overview of annual greenhouse gas emissions from 1990 to 2021. In 2021, US greenhouse gas emissions totaled 6,340.2 of US greenhouse gas emissions in 2021.

EPA trends report finds MY 2021 fuel economy remained flat at a record high while CO2 levels hit new low

Verkehr und Wasser GmbH (VWG) in Oldenburg, Germany has acquired 15 new MAN Lion’s City 12 G EfficientHybrid natural gas buses. Since the stored electricity is also used while driving, the natural gas engine has to generate less energy and fuel consumption is further reduced. Bio natural gas has been used since 2013.
