People might be bored reading about the Prius but a review on four Priuses (2004, 2005, two 2006s) that my family owns that ran a total of 913k km (570k miles) should be interesting, right? I found a a 2004 with 247k km (154k miles) on the clock. What is it like to drive a hybrid? It is actually a quite fun car to drive.

The new buses have a crankshaft starter generator on board that converts braking recuperation energy into electrical energy. The intelligent energy management of the EfficientHybrid module uses the energy created through recuperation during braking and then stored in ultracaps to supply the on-board network.

Exide Technologies announced the production of its 2,500,000 th micro-hybrid battery in Europe. In 2004, Exide Technologies was the first in the market supplying an Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology-based micro-hybrid battery for the Citroën C3. Both the AGM and ECM batteries are 100% recyclable.

The recently converted A-Class F-CELL “plus” with 700 bar technology will participate in the tour along with hydrogen-powered vehicles from other automakers. A fleet of 30 A-Class F-CELL vehicles has been in daily use on public roads in the US since 2004. Tags: Fuel Cells Hybrids Hydrogen.
