After a succession of carefully staged events for media and the public, we now know that the 2022 GMC Hummer EV will include at least two models: a sport utility truck (or SUT), with four doors and a short pickup bed, and a more conventional SUV. Before Tesla, they were seen as nerdy golf carts, far from usable as “real cars.”

The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. It features ABS brakes, dual airbags, and is designed to meet all European and U.S.

Blending the MPG of SUVs and small cars understates the real consumption and rewards automakers for building gas hogs and unsafe micro cars which makes people want to buy "safe" gas hogs. I had surmised this in my 2002 car design thesis [link] even before anyone was talking about plug in series hybrids.
