Plastic caps and shipping aids from the Fort Wayne facility are converted into radiator shrouds for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups built at the plant. The company has reduced total non-recycled waste 75% between 2000 and 2010 at manufacturing sites around the world.

Haul or tow -- buy a Silverado. Posted by: Toad | Apr 14, 2009 4:26:55 AM I am still unsure why GM gets chastised for providing such a wide range of vehicles -- you want fuel efficient buy a 4 cyl. Cobalt, you want big get a Suburban, a Corvette gets you 600+ HP. Its still consumer choice as it was 5 or 10 years ago.
