Federal tax law doesn't let me get a rebate from the feds because the car isn't a fully qualified conversion; however, I applied to the State of Oregon to get the state rebate of $750. It's better than nothing.

I called Rennsport Systems to ask for a transmission rebuilt quote and they suggested budgeting between $2000 and $3000 for parts and labor (Ouch!). Turning up the vent fan on full helps quite a bit, but having the hair dryers will definitely help. Alan at A &P quoted about $425 for labor plus parts (better).
