That car was the 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line, and I managed to find one in a Denver-area car graveyard recently. Our nameless reviewer felt , back in 2006, that the Vue's panel gaps made it the "automotive equivalent of a shotgun shack" and calculated that the Green Line version would require 90,000 miles of driving with $2.15/gallon

Having already taken the decision to close its Pontiac brand, General Motors has now announced that it will proceed with the sale of Saturn. GM has now issued a short statement outlining that it will review the expressions of interest and will look to secure an agreement with a specific buyer later this year.

Still, with more recent information about the vehicle now being manufactured and it being reviewed by Top Gear and Edmunds , perhaps it deserves one more look. In Top Gear’s video in the rain, the hypercar handled more like the Saturn 5 rocket than a road-going vehicle.

As part of the new plan, GM will accelerate the wind-down or sale of HUMMER, Saturn and Saab to the end of 2009, and phase out Pontiac by the end of 2010. The revised plan moves up the resolution of Saab, Saturn, and Hummer to the end of 2009, at the latest.
