Honda beat everybody to the production gasoline-electric hybrid game in the United States, putting the Insight in showrooms in 1999. That car was the 2007 Saturn Vue Green Line, and I managed to find one in a Denver-area car graveyard recently. The Vue's platform outlived Saturn and still lives today, though.

Think says it has battery supply contracts with three companies, and is moving into production. Subaru's snail's pace production plans are far from ambitious. GM's Vue and Volt plug-ins have no firm date to appear in showrooms. As previous reported, plan is to sell the car (€25,000) and lease the battery. Zebra batteries first.
