Bengaluru supercar startup raises 1 Billion $

Bengaluru-based electric supercar startup Mean Metal Motors has mentioned their funding and updates about their vehicle through social media platforms. In their post, they have raised an equity crowdfunding of 1 Billion $ so far. Also, they have mentioned that their first fully functional prototype will be ready by 2022.

BMW production-ready electric scooter

In the recent post by decoches, we can see the spy shots of one of the BMWs upcoming electric scooter. Earlier BMW Motorrad reveals its CE 04 concept electric scooter which comes under the maxi scooter category.

Now, the BMW electric scooter in the spy shots appears to be almost similar to the initial concept design. By looking at these images the scooter appears as belt-driven and it has a relaxed cruiser-style seating posture.

Opel Manta GSe elektroMOD

German automaker Opel which is a subsidiary of Stellantis group has showcased the electric version of their manta. The IC version of manta is one of the most successful cars from Opel and the automaker has developed a single unit of this electric car. The exterior of the car is a combination of old design with a futuristic touch but the interior receives full EV modification.

The car is rear-wheel drive and it comes with a 4-speed transmission. The 108kW electric motor under the bonnet can make the manta provide a torque of up to 255Nm. Manta GSe has a 31kWh lithium battery pack that can be recharged in 4 hours with a 9.0 kW onboard charger and offers a range of up to 200 km.

Volkswagen CEO shares about ID.X

Ralf Brandstätter, the CEO of Volkswagen passenger cars has recently shared a few images and specifications about the Volkswagen ID.X project on his Linkedin.

In his post, he mentions that the dual-motor all-wheel drive is powered by the 82 kWh battery pack. The acceleration of the ID.X from 0-100km/h requires an approximate time of 5.2 seconds. Also, there is a drift mode option in this hatchback.
