The dedicated battery assembly workshops are in five plants of the Stellantis Group: Vigo & Saragossa (Spain), Trnava (Slovakia), Sochaux & Mulhouse (France) and soon Hordain (France). Porsche will manufacture the future all-electric version of the fourth-generation Cayenne at Volkswagen Slovakia’s multi-brand location in Bratislava. Since then, the site has produced models with combustion engines and plug-in hybrid powertrains. That model will be produced at the Porsche factory in Leipzig.

The system stores sustainably generated electricity in used batteries that come from the all-electric SUV ŠKODA ENYAQ iV as well as the plug-in hybrid models SUPERB iV and OCTAVIA iV. By transferring the production of the new-generation Superb from Kvasiny to Bratislava, Slovakia, the Czech carmaker has created additional capacity at Kvasiny to manufacture the successful Kodiaq and Karoq SUV models.
