The Vegatron is a Honda Dio look alike. My hypothesis is that the likes of Kinetic Honda and later on Activa killed the Bajaj simply because they had flat floorboards. The lead acid version is priced at 52 K. There are 5 vehicles that were in the showroom. It has a 3 kW motor - and is zippy.

I originally was just hoping for 45 mile range and on lead acid batteries. Many are reading this post and not understanding things change. Gas was over $5.00 a gallon when I started and to my surprise it did drop and drastically. This wasn't feasible so I had to change to lithium cells which blew away my original estimate of only $6k.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. Honda has probably sold more Civics in a year than the combined total of all 18 of those GM models. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do you see that?
