Porsche and the technology company Mobileye have entered into a strategic collaboration for series production of premium ADAS solutions. In future models, Porsche plans to offer automated assistance and navigate-on-pilot functions based on the Mobileye SuperVision technology platform.

Porsche is planning to set up its own fast-charging stations offering a premium charging experience along Europe’s most important routes. As a pilot site, the first Porsche Charging Lounge has opened outside Bingen am Rhein. Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Volkswagen Group deliveries of all-electric vehicles (BEVs) rose by 42% in Q1 2023 compared to the prior-year period, which was hit harder by supply chain issues. By the end of March, the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand delivered 70,000 vehicles, around half of all the Group’s BEVs. BEVs made up 6.9% 5 41,900 Volkswagen ID.3

The Volkswagen Group increased its deliveries of all-electric vehicles by 27% year-on-year in 1H 2022. In terms of BEV deliveries by region, Europe was still clearly in the lead, with 128,800 vehicles (share of Group total: 59%) in the first six months. Second biggest BEV market for the Group was China with 63,500 deliveries (29%).
