Volkswagen Group delivers 42% more all-electric vehicles in the first quarter

Volkswagen Group deliveries of all-electric vehicles (BEVs) rose by 42% in Q1 2023 compared to the prior-year period, which was hit harder by supply chain issues. By the end of March, the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand delivered 70,000 vehicles, around half of all the Group’s BEVs. BEVs made up 6.9% 5 41,900 Volkswagen ID.3

Volkswagen Group delivers 217,100 BEVs in 1H 22, up 27%

The Volkswagen Group increased its deliveries of all-electric vehicles by 27% year-on-year in 1H 2022. In terms of BEV deliveries by region, Europe was still clearly in the lead, with 128,800 vehicles (share of Group total: 59%) in the first six months. Second biggest BEV market for the Group was China with 63,500 deliveries (29%).
