In addition, the EPA gave the all-new minivan a rating of 10 in its Green Vehicle Guide. And three streetside at City Hall, trumpeted in signage as a "Green Vehicle Showcase." Usage at the City Hall location is restricted; only official city and ZipCar plug-in vehicles may use them. And I could use the charge, as I'm charging at 120 volts at home. All others subject to ticketing and towing.

In February, the Michigan Economic Growth Authority approved the first incentives from the original legislation for Ford and General Motors for pack engineering, integration and assembly, vehicle engineering, and advanced-battery technologies. Those incentives, which included tax credits to help produce the battery for GM’s Chevy Volt.

Global supply chain challenges continue to limit the production of new vehicles. Dealerships across the country still have vehicles available on their lots and update their websites daily.

PICC’s existing conversion kit allows Prius owners to recharge their vehicles in six hours using a regular 120-volt outlet, or in as little as two hours with an optional high-capacity charger. The company also intends to complete crash testing of PICC-converted vehicles so that future owners can qualify for green-vehicle tax credits.
