after looking it up on google maps, and working out all the distances I'm likely to need to cover, there's really no need for me to have a range of more than 30km. So: I think I will design myself a 96v or even a 72v system. The island is small.

The lead acid version is priced at 52 K. I googled and 1500 F capacitors are available. This leads to my next hypothesis about the Click battery: it is most likely LTO chemistry. There is a low speed model, Zepop, which looks very much like the SB Tek model. Unofficially it has a 1 kW motor. 1 Ah is 3600 Coulomb.

Our goal is to enable owners to enlist a local electrician/engineer to convert their cars, initially with lead-acid batteries, for under $6,000 and less than two person-weeks of time. (We Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. 25 or more gets you a bumper sticker.

In addition, the lead-acid auxiliary 12V battery found in competitors’ hybrid models has been omitted for the Ioniq Hybrid, resulting in a 26-pound reduction in weight. Ioniq uses aluminum in the hood and tailgate, reducing weight by 27 lbs (12.25 Lightweighting also extended to less obvious areas such as the cargo-screen cover.
