I couldn’t think of a use case where needing to be in the driver’s seat with the key on your person would inconvenience you except for a scenario where a driver runs into a store and leaves passengers to play with the radio. To be fair, Android phone users may find the Google-based system a bit quicker to learn than iPhone users.

Gotta love the free and the fast juice at MG’s Fortum Chargers. The car that I am taking on this trip is 2022 MG ZS EV.

Followed Google Maps to hit Hosur road - and from then on the Maps was switched off. The last 5% takes much more time - and so if you have another person behind you, you are not expected to do a full charge. We switched on Google Maps and left for Ooty. But that is not the case in the cockpit. That is quite neat.

So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day? Does it, in essence, come down to the fact that V2G takes advantage of battery storage that would exist anyway , as opposed to requiring batteries specifically for the purpose of storing night-time electricity?
