Porsche 914 EV Conversion

The 914 AC kit uses 8V golf cart batteries and I'm wondering if different batteries like Hawkers or Optima Yellow-Top batteries would be better. Both US-Battery and Trojan have 8-volt golf-cart batteries. With the AC system, I'll probably be pulling less amps and am looking forward to the extended range.

Kulongoski, Oregon as the electric-car manufacturer may be eyeing the “green” city of Portland. It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. Electric cars a still a joke.
