Last week, as part of the little known and unadvertised “Bolt Buyback” program GM quietly created in response to the recall of all their 2017- 2019 Bolts, Chevy paid $37,900 to buy this car back from us. I sang the praises of the car and how GM stood behind it. They then sold us a brand new 2021 Bolt EV Premier for $28,500.

We Must Destroy GM In Order To Save GM. I’m afraid the time has come to pull the plug on GM’s life support so we can plug into a whole new kind of Motors much better than General. And I’m talking about killing GM the way GM killed the electric car. The brain of GM will never feel it.

You’d think the batteries couldn’t even get you out of the driveway the way Rick Wagoner at GM keeps making excuses and dragging his feet. People use them every day in every way to do what they need a small SUV to do. The batteries work just fine. Imagine that.

So far GM, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Mitsubishi, have all announced plug in vehicles they will have for sale in 2010. You’ll have free fuel for life for your new clean burning electric car, you’ll end your dependence on gasoline of any kind and you’ll stop pumping more C02 into the atmosphere. That’s 18 months away.

In fact I highly recommend that you and your fellow spokespeople for GM start getting that chemo today, because we want to see you in that Marathon with the IV drip at your side. By which GM’s head Putz means more money from you and me for a car company that will soon be going bankrupt and stiffing everyone they owe.

At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. At least GM did a Disney display. While GM blows smoke and continues to crank out POS cars that look DOA, Mitshubishi has had their MiEV car here since January getting tested on real roads by SCE.
